Weather
During summer you can expect weather to be quite pleasant but with the potential to change fast as several of the regions you visit will be mountainous and at higher elevations. The winter and spring months are particularly beautiful. Cold crisp days with a glistening snow are common place.
Best time to visit

Coasts
Washington and Oregon offers a beautiful coastline which has a number of wonderful stops to accompany it such as the San Juan Islands, Hood Canal, Rockaway Beach, Cannon Beach and much more.
National Parks
There are four national parks in the Pacific Northwest region: Crater Lake National Park in Oregon and Olympic National Park, North Cascades National Park and Rainier National Park in Washington.
Cities
The Pacific Northwest is able to boast two world-class cities in Portland and Seattle. Seattle has a wonderful music scene and is very vibrant whereas Portland is more relaxed but brimming with creativity and outdoor markets.
