Weather
Summer temperatures average in the 20’s C, and in the winter at -10C. The first snow fall is expected in October with the winter as temperatures start to fall and lasts through to about mid-March when the weather starts to warm up again.
Best time to visit
Canadian mountain weather can be changeable year round however the optimum time to travel to the region where adverse weather conditions are least likely to affect your enjoyment of the region is May 01st – September 15th.
Natural Beauty
Alberta and British Columbia has an abundance of natural beauty from the diverse ecosystems that live on Vancouver Island to the sheer breathtaking landscapes of the Canadian Rockies and the world famous lakes – such as Moraine and Louise – that accompany them.
Mountains
The Canadian Rockies are obviously amazing for mountain ranges stretching 900 miles in length and over 90 miles wide but the two highest peaks in British Columbia and Alberta are in the Coast Mountain range and the Saint Elias Mountain range.
