Weather
Tennessee offers generally warm year round temperatures if a little humid in the summer months. The warmest parts of the state are the Gulf Coastal Plain, the Central Basin, and the Sequatchie Valley.
Best time to visit
As you venture to the mountain area, temperatures are likely to drop notably though in summer it should still be very pleasant. However mountain weather is unpredictable and layered clothing is the best and most versatile attire to wear.
