Maine’s climate is similar to the UK, however the summers tend to be a little warmer and you should also allow for rapidly changing conditions in the mountain regions. In summer temperatures are expected to be consistently mid 20C’s while winters are often below 0.

The winter and spring months in New England are particularly beautiful. Cold crisp days with a glistening white blanket of snow are common place.
