Best time to visit
Ontario is great all year round. The winter and spring months in Ontario are particularly beautiful. Cold, crisp days with a glistening white blanket of snow are common place – but were you to go during the summer you’d experience comfortably warm days to partake in outdoor activities.
Landmarks
Ontario offers two stunning world-renowned landmarks in Niagara Falls and the CN Tower in Toronto. The falls are over 12,000 years old and are split into two: American Falls & Bridal Veil Falls. The CN Tower is the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere today.
Cities
Ontario is home to two capital cities and two world class cities – Ottawa, the federal capital, and Toronto, the provincial capital. Both cities are in deep contrast to one another. Toronto is larger and more vibrant while Ottawa is more quaint and intimate.
Outdoors
The size of France and Spain combined, Ontario is a beautiful land of forests, lakes and rivers. Within just a couple of hours from leaving the cities of Toronto, Ottawa and Niagara you can find yourself in a pristine wilderness. There are over 280 national and provincial parks in all to see across the province.
