Weather
The Rocky Mountains experience extreme cold and heavy snow in the winter. In the summer temperatures are cooler and dryer than other regions of North America. In the winter, the canyons will stay mild at about 15C while summers will be hot and dry.
Best time to visit
The best time to visit for ideal weather is between April to July. If you’re looking for the very warmest time to visit the Canyons, Rockies and Yellowstone, the hottest months are July and August.
