This is a customer review from the Briscoe Party who went on a Route 66 Fly Drive at the start of June 2016

Dear Andy,

What a wonderful adventure. Everything went so smoothly with no hitches whatsoever, a big thank you for your planning. Starting with the flight with British Airways being very good, then after 5 days staying at the Hotel Lincoln in Chicago and exploring the city the FUN started.

We picked up the car from Alamo which was all ready for us and drove to the start of Route 66. The GPS you arranged for us (Dolly as we affectionately named her) was an amazing piece of kit, keeping us on track and giving us “Alerts” of places of Route 66 interest i.e. Gas stations, Old Motels, Museums etc. Plus many many other local things to see on route with over 900 points of interest being programmed in. We thoroughly recommend this to all future travellers of route 66.

On arrival at each hotel/motel we were expected and given a warm welcome. The rooms were all of a very high standard all with coffee, ice, a good selection of TV channels and most with free Wi-Fi. Some included breakfasts were very good with fresh and hot delights.

We really spent time exploring the Mother Road as you know the basic “66” route is 2448 miles but we actually drove a total of 3540 miles after taking in all the fantastic sights and places to see.

The journey finished with a 7 day stay at the Wyndham hotel in Santa Monica before another good flight home. After the quiet roads of Route 66 the LA traffic was a shock to the system but we soon got into the LA mind set and where driving like the locals by the time we dropped the car back.
