This is a customer review from the Driscoll party who went on a Western USA fly drive at the beginning of September 2014.

Hello Alistair,

Well we have been home now for two weeks and I have to apologise for not writing sooner, it’s that thing call time that slips by so quickly despite our good intentions.

We would both like to thank you and your colleagues for all your help in arranging our holiday, everything went smoothly and we had no issues with any of the hotels, checking in and out was fine, so easy and simple with the vouchers. It made the process quite relaxed, a really good system and much appreciated.

The weather was good except for two rainy days with thunderstorms and hail, it was a pity one day was our day at the Grand Canyon, even the shuttle bus was cancelled due to the weather, we even had to scrape the ice of the car the next morning but even so it was good to be there.

With other places reaching over 100°C (113°C was the highest) with cloudless skies it was quite an experience visiting some places again and seeing new sights. I would recommend a visit to Lassen Volcanic National Park as it is quite different, we were told it was the only place where you can see examples of all 3 types of volcanoes, fortunately extinct at the moment although there was bubbling mud pools and plenty of fumes.

I could go on and on but to sum up we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed it seeing all the sights and meeting lots of ‘local’ people who were very friendly and please to meet visitors from the UK.

Thanks again for all your help, it was our third trip with Complete North America and  if we ever go back, unlikely now as we are both approaching 70 and I shall be retiring next April, we were wouldn’t use any other company.
