As it is located in the middle of the Mojave Desert, Las Vegas has a typical desert climate with long, very hot summers and short, mainly mild winters. Las Vegas is among the sunniest and driest places in North America.
Best time to visit
Las Vegas is a year round destination as the entertainment just never stops and the weather is almost constantly warm. June, July and August will average in the late 30’s to high 40’s. If you like the weather a bit cooler, March, April, May, September and October may be better suited.
