Introduction

Drive some of the most amazing highways in the world such as The 'Top of The World' Highway and the Klondike Highway. Learn about the rich American native history in Alaska and experience the Gold Rush towns of Fairbanks, Dawson City and Skagway. Along the way you have the chance to see wonderful wildlife including Grizzly Bears, Moose and Killer Whales.
Alaska is quite unique and rightly so appeals to many of us for its rugged unspoilt beauty and abundance of wildlife that we very rarely see in our lifetimes. Accommodation
The accommodation used is of a tourist-moderate class. For the most part they are clean functional motor lodges which are very typical for Alaska and the Yukon where many regions are quite remote and undeveloped. The emphasis of this itinerary is very much outdoors, driving through stunning scenery and getting out experiencing things first hand, so basic clean comfortable places to overnight are ideal.
We do also offer an upgraded accommodation option on this itinerary (Moderate Class to First Class) though please note that not all places in Alaska/Yukon offer a wide range and upgraded accommodation. Accommodation might still be considered on the lower end, yet we always try to book the best hotel/accommodation available!
We're able to offer a flexible approach when selecting your accommodation, so if you would like something specific, or maybe a touch of luxury please speak to a member of our team who will happily offer advice and suggestions.
Sometimes the accommodations named in an itinerary are not available at the time of the booking. Under these circumstances, Complete North America will book alternative accommodations of a similar standard. Such changes will be confirmed to you in writing at the time of booking confirmation. If you are not completely happy with the alternative properties we will happily discuss all other possibilities with you.
